Configure Netscape Email

1. Open Netscape Navigator. From the menu bar, click Options and select Mail and News Preferences.

2. Click the Servers tab. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server text box, enter smtp.rollanet.org (no spaces or capitals.) Be especially careful to eliminate any spaces which may be undetected at the beginning of the text box; if you are in doubt backspace till you reach the very beginning of the box and then type the information. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server text box, enter pop.rollanet.org. In the POP3 User Name text box, enter your RollaNet userid (do not include the @rollanet.org portion of your email address, just the RollaNet userid.)

3. Click the Identity tab.In the Your Name text box, enter your name. In the Your email text box, enter youruserid@rollanet.org. In the reply-to-address text box, enter your email address: youruserid@rollanet.org. Click the OK button.

4. From the menu bar, click Window and select Netscape Mail. Enter your password (no spaces or capitals) and click OK.

If Netscape Mail is properly configured you should now be able to send and receive email successfully when you click File -> Get New Mail.
